Oh cool, Rich Text is working for me today! XD

So, ZOMG THE BLEACH CHAPTER IS OUT ALREADY! O_O

Soo... I don't have much constructive to say about this chapter. I knew Barragan's ability was going to be badass looking, and it was. Especially Soi Fon's arm. *WINCE* That had to be freaking scary. Her arm turned to bone! Crap. I fear for her. >_>

My favorite line definitely was Barragans, "Even Shinigami, it seems, fear death!"

Also, Hitsugaya and Halibel's fight made me laugh this week. *snerks* They're basically having a 'who's more arrogant' 2nd grade argument at this point. >D We didn't actually see her return attack hit Hitsugaya at the end though, so he could still deflect it (or at least get out of the way) next chapter. So I guess we'll see next chapter who wins the pissing contest. *laughs* I do love you, Hitsu-kun and Hali-san!

I want to see next weeks spoilers nooow. Should be more interesting next week. We find out who's more arrogant- Hitsu or Hali, maybe we get to see Soi Fon do something against Barragan. And MAYBE WE GET TO SEE JYUU OR SHUN. OR STARK. Now that would be awesome. *g*

On another note, Satsu has fanned my ego enough that I'll probably post a fic within the next couple days. XD Also, I promise to start working on those requests! Tonight! XD

I loved Barragan's quote too. And his DEATH BREATH. It made me giggle. I really love his new form or whatever. It kind of puts all of the others to shame.

And Stark. He seems super awesome and cuddly and lazy and d'awww. *u*

Poor Soi Fon, though. Missing an arm now. I kind of want everyone to kick butt so we can move on from the fighting part, and maybe go on to something more...fun? I'm antsy to see what's going to happen with Aizen.

As best I can tell, she is using water to attack, ice trumps water witch gives Hitsugaya an eventual edge.

Then again, he is the series punching bag like Ten Ten is to Naruto. Someone beats them up just to prove how strong they are.

I adore Barragan's release! I didn't like him that much before, but his second form is SO. COOL. looking. And he has freaking awesome powers. Plus he's had fantastic lines, this chapter and last chapter.

YES. WE ALWAYS NEED MORE UKITAKE. :D I really hope he does contribute soon...
Yesss, Stark is awesome. <33 Though since supposedly he's more powerful than Barragan, I'm kind of scared of him and what he can do. ^_^;;

And she didn't just get it chopped off, she had to watch it, like, dissolve and turn to bone. O_O I was getting a little impatient for something interesting myself until last chapter. The 'themes' have potential to me. Especially Stark's 'loneliness'... I forsee emotion screwing with Shunsui. *gulps*

That's what Hitsugaya said this chapter too! But she is claiming it's not true... hrmm.

The themes were a really interesting twist for sure. I feel bad because Stark is loneliness and he seemed so cute and happy before the whole epic battle started. It's hard to imagine him being the embodiment of loneliness, but that will just make it that much more interesting to see when him and Shunsui start to fight. :D
You're right though, him being the bestest does make him kind of scary.

well she was debating using water vs using water, if the translation is good that is.

But how they use the water is differnt. Really if they give Hitsugaya full credit for how strong he SHOULD be given his abilty to freeze water-vaper he would pretty much wipe out any enemy that wasn't crazy-fast. Any time they so much as stumble he could make an icecube out of them.

Oh god that panel with Soi Fong's arm, just UNFFFF. So good. The Hitsu/Halibel fight is just getting more ridiculous by the chapter XDDD

Omg, Barragan's release looks so cool. Wow. And Soi Fon's arm looked so crazy intense in skeleton form.

As für Hitsu, the spoilers made it look worse than it is, imo..and haha yeah |D @ who's more arrogant, I wonder how long it's going to be like that XD ..and I certainly hope Hitsugaya will have the last word.

I know! I want to give him a hug, or something! But, yeah, old age/time is more of a physical thing, where loneliness has more to do with inner things/emotions. I wonder how far Kubo is going to take that.
Well, technically Yammy is the bestest, buuut... I'm still not sure how he fits into this whole themes thing with his dual numbers. The powers of the lower Espada did not reflect their theme as literately as Barragan's is. Still, though, Stark is supposed to be more powerful than Barragan, at least.

Hrm. The translation on onemanga is:

Hitsu: For someone like me who uses an ice-type zanpakutou, all the water around me is merely a weapon. Even if that water is your weapon.

To me, due to his reference to his ice-type zanpakutou, he seems to be saying that he can turn any of the water that she sends at him to ice and then control it.

Then she says: The moment you arrive at the idea that water will become your weapon, you must also realize that the opposite may be possible as well.

And then she sends his own ice attack back to him as water. However, we don't see it hit him, so he may very well send it back again, negating her theory. You're right, though, you would think ice would be able to freeze any water- I personally think that he's not going to get seriously wounded at least until she uses an attack that's not water based.

If Halibel stumbled and Hitsu tried to turn her into an ice cube, apparently Halibel would be able to turn that ice into water. That's what she was saying this chapter anyway..

I know, right?! When I read the spoilers, I just pictured, like, the skin on her hand getting gray and weird. NOT melting away really quickly and leaving a skeleton arm behind. The panel after Oomaeda cuts it off... *shivers*
Haha yeah. XD Basically the whole fight so far has been them calling each other arrogant and trying to one-up each other. *laughs* I want something cool like Halibel calling out her own theme to happen. :D Though I think she's probably trying to save it for Yamamoto...

I KNOW. I love Barragan's release! Who would've thought it'd be so badass? And yeah, that's the perfect word for the scene with Soi Fon's hand- intense. *nods* I just expected her skin to start going all grey and maybe dissolving a little, not pretty much disappearing in an instant. Intense. *shiver*

I'm still pretty confident that Hitsugaya is going to win his fight in the end. Right now it doesn't seem the power gap between them is all that large. Yeah, the spoilers made it sound like it hit him, or that he was staring at the incoming attack in horror, or something like that. With us not seeing either of those situations, I'm thinking he'll deflect it again or at least get out of the way. And I bet if that happens he'll make some comment about Halibel underestimating him *laughs*.

On the other hand, the power gap between Soi Fon and Barragan is looking to be pretty freaking large at this point. T_T I'm definitely much more worried about her survival than I am about Hitsu's survival.

I can't wait for the next chapter either!! *bounces*

I didn't like this chapter as much as the last couple ones. I did enjoy it in a superficial 'wow, Barragan's power is AWESOME' way, but I'm getting more and more concerned about the fate of the Shinigami in this battle. What he did to Soi Fon's arm he could do to entire people... T_T

I bet you that if Hitsugaya deflects it again, he'll make some comment about her underestimating him, and it Hitsugaya get's injured she'll gloat. *snerks*

I didn't like Barragan before, at all, or i just didn't care about him, but this chapter made me realise how cool he is. Altough Soi Fon's missing arm is scary. D: [Seriously, Kubo has some kind of fetish now...]

But YES, I WANT MORE SHUNSUI, STARK AND JYUUSHIRO! I'm starting to worry about Shun, and i hope he wins, but i like Stark too...it'll be though. D:

I am scared of Barragan, who I'm referring to as the Lich King. His shoes look funny though.

And when will the cutting off arms stop?

Barragan really does look like death. He's scary. Kubo did a really good job with him. I was rather ambivalent about him until he released--and now..he's rather interesting to me.

Soifon's arm...her losing an arm wasn't too unexpected (because Kubo chops arms off left and right), but why she had to lose it was rather shocking.

I ♥ Halibel! I like Hitsugaya, too....but Halibel's just awesome. When she falls (which, sadly, I'm sure she will eventually--though I could be wrong), at least she will have been known to not go down without a fight.

I wonder why "the old fart" is not helping Hitsugaya, or is this a fight for pride again?

I really wonder what Kubo is going to do, cause I'm pretty sure he can't do the "haha, didn't hit me" thing yet again..and it bothers me, that Hitsugaya gave this "don't underestimate us" speech, when he was unerestimating Halibels power ~~or so it seems so far~~...

She will come up with something, I could bet. This is Bleach, it would be way too boring, if Barragan would kill her just like that. She said she was already giving it her best, but..she didn't actually do anything special so far, didn't she? I'm confused...

Arrrrgh, is it next week already???

Well, they are in what's supposed to be a decisive battle... I still expect someone to die. I don't know who, though...

I hope Soi Fon is going to SURVIVE. >_>
