I've had an extremely crappy week- or at least an extremely crappy second half of the week. I guess Sunday-Wednesday was fine, just filled with studying.

But then.

On Thursday.

I had two exams that day, one of which was calculus. The whole day was a complete disaster. I ended up getting lost on the high way and having like two breakdowns and just. OMG UGH. I think I did horribly on both exams, and there's a possibility that I got a grade on my calc final that would mean that I failed the class. Which would. I don't even know. Completely fuck up all my plans. It would screw everything up. T_______T I don't even. *jumps off a cliff*

So I spent all of Friday freaking out about that, though Claire cheered me up some by telling me all about how England's government/olitics work. I'm a politics nerd, woot~.

ANYWAY. Fandom stuff is yay. Someone needs to stop me from signing up for things O__O. I volunteered to create "art" (I'm doing story banners most likely) for two Bleach fic over at au_bigbang. It's been a while since I've done story banners, but out of like the 6 stories that were still unclaimed by earlier this week, two were Bleach ones. It made me D: so I volunteered.

And then I told you about bleachbigbang , which I signed up for. I'll probably volunteer to do art for that too. Anyone on my flist like to make icons/banners/wallpapers? Or can draw? Or is good at making fanmixes? Go volunteer at bleachbigbang, we need artists. :) And of course if you're a writer, go sign up! *prods* PLUS there's also a section for cheerleaders and betas. So yeah. Go sign up :D. /repeats self

I also finally gave in and signed up at ship_manifesto  *g*. For Ukitake/Shunsui, of course! Let's see if I can actually do it, hee. I'm definitely going to be bugging the comm for help >D.

I'm also debating signing up for startrekbigbang which opens soon, but the due date is a month or two after bleachbigbang's. I'm thinking of some kind of AU *grins* Because you can also do fusions/crossovers, and err I might be planning on bringing Ukitake & Shunsui in somehow, um. *halo* The Spock in my head somehow decided that Ukitake reminds him of Amanda O_O. The pairing would probably end up being either Kirk/Spock or Kirk/Spock/McCoy. I'd like to do the threesome, but I'm not sure I'd manage it.

Speaking of AUs! I was working on an AU as a giftfic for spikykun and I realized that it's suddenly become a massive ensemble plotty fic in my head! Which isn't completely surprising, considering I love this universe a lot. Usually I babble about my crazy AU ideas with spikykun, though. But since this is a giftfic, I want to try not to spoil her too much, hehe. Anyone interested in babbling with me? :3 It's Ukitake/Shunsui and Renji/Ichigo, thought it's really sort of a big Ukitake/Shunsui/Renji/Ichigo awesomefest. Let's just say this AU was first conceived because I wanted to make a universe where Renji and Ichigo were pretty much equals with Ukitake and Shunsui. Renji and Ukitake are actually bffs (Ukitake likes teasing him about his crush on Ichigo) and Ukitake and Shunsui actually just met right before the story begins (Ukitake doesn't like him much xD). And Renji is completely kickass, because he deserves it *g*.

(no subject)

So today was really weird. Mom was being all >:{ and snippy and refusing to talk to us half the day. She kept bringing up stuff from the argument yesterday, and making us argue again.

But then we figured out she was mostly just upset because it was her first mother's day since grandma died.

But then it's hard to be sympathetic when she's picking fights >__>. I didn't quite know what to do.

When we went out to dinner she mellowed out, though. Even though when we went to get ice cream they were out of the first THREE ice cream flavors she picked O_O. It was weird xD. Ah well.

And it says something that my first thought upon hearing the news that came out a couple seconds ago- Elena Kagan nominated for Supreme Court- was oh crap now I'm going to get to listen to my dad's bigoted ranting. :3 There've been some rumors that Kagan is a lesbian, and considering what my dad says about Hilary Clinton... yeah, this is going to be fun. Pft.

... it'll just make me root harder for her, though. Hah.
