This wasn't the AU I expected either. xD Most of my AUs are dreadfully angsty, and the original entry was going to Ukitake being all unrequited at Shunsui and 'I wish I hadn't fallen in love with you'. And then the RP turned even more ANGSTANGSTANGST and I had to do something to recover. xDDD Glad you liked it! :D
