Seee I told you I'd post someday! XDD So I have for your perusing today, two crappy little drabbles. :D Have fun! And please comment- it makes me SQUEE and run around in circles. Plus it'd make me feel better about Kubo's little twist. :p

Title: Strength

Notes: This was actually the first Bleach thing I ever wrote. I believe it was, like, last summer. Haha. It's really not that good, but it's an official drabble (100 words exactly!!) so I don't want to edit. :) Plus it's kind of part of a backstory I want to write for them someday.


In the beginning, there was chaos.

In the beginning, there was death.

This is why Kyouraku does not understand when people call his Jyuu-kun weak. They are all so young, so naïve, so spoiled by what Soul Society has become. They do not remember the entire villages slaughtered by Hollows, they do not dream of children’s screams in their sleep (even now).

Jyuushirou is not weak. If anything, his Jyuu-kun is stronger than everyone else. He was able to survive and fight and love and live despite his disease.

They do not understand.

In the beginning, only the strongest survived.

Notes: To make up for that little drabble, I also bring you a short little very weird thing I babbled out yesterday.
Notes 2: Even though I’ve read a couple other AUs where Aizen wins, this was definitely vaguely inspired by reading the first chapter of incandescens (co-written with liralen and sophiap ) new fic, which I read the day I wrote this. Not that I have any idea what's happened to Ichigo or Rukia in that fic, but just the general idea. XD
Note 3: Style probably partly inspired by having read The Sound and the Fury recently....

Rukia dreams of orange flashing at the edge of her vision. She whirls and whirls and follows and searches and runs and screams breath gasping harshly in her throat but she never can find it him, only a glimpse always just around the corner of a house a street and she wants she wants she needs.

She wakes and finds that sometimes dreams blur into her reality- or is it the other way around? But in the end it doesn’t really matter because the houses she ran past in her dream are black burnt remnants now, forgotten tombs of comrades. And she knows they’ve lost she’s lost and she finds that she’d rather be in her frantic dreams because at least there she sees orange that’s still orange not stained by red.

I tried posting this earlier but my internet died on me *g* Stupid internet.

Anyway, I really liked both of these drabbles. My favorite is, of course, the first one but that's because I love the old dudes. *g* Also yes to that one because Jyuushirou is many things but weak is not one of them :D

And the second was very sad D: Poor Rukia.

YAY! I'm glad you liked them! :D And, of course, I understand. I love the old dudes liek woah as well. <33 And nope, Jyuu's not weak at all. I think that drabble was inspired when I was reading a forum and they were talking about who they thought might die and some of them where like, 'probably Ukitake, because he's weak already'. Me: '...'

Yeah, the second one is sad. Poor Rukia, indeed. *hugs* I think I might write more in that 'verse, actually. Not that I like killing characters off or anything. *shifty*

Dude, my main RL Bleach friend said that he's moving to Antartica if Jyuu or Shun dies. He knows I'll be ranting and upset for hours and hours if that happens. XD *coughs* He also says I have a problem. :DD

Very nice. The first was my favorite. It makes me wonder what Shunsui thinks of Aizen in terms of strength. And conversely, what Aizen thinks of them.

*hugs them too* Y'know, I was thinking about this 'verse yesterday, actually. I still want to write it one day. xD Shouldn't surprise you, the world is full of violence and such. Related to my love of disaster!fic. xDDD

ETA: I was referring to the ShunUki one, but I want to write something in the Rukia verse too. xD;;
