Someone mentioned once that Soi Fon picked Oomaeda because there was no chance that she would grow fond of him. So if he betrayed her, she would not be hurt. I tend to agree with this; it seems like something Soi Fon would do.

And that's a good theory on SF's motivations. It MUST be something like that.
