First of all, let us have a moment of silence for Shunsui's hat.

God, I love Stark & Shunsui's fight. For shallow reasons, since they are both SEX. Also, I like how we realize that they really still are just taunting each other. Neither has brought out the big guns yet. And for the life of me, I can NOT figure out how this fight is going to go. Like, Shunsui's bleeding. T_T

Which brings me to Soi Fon. Like, wtf. What is she doing? I am confused. Yes, they're fighting without a limiter, but that doesn't mean they're fighting at full strength, per se. For one big obvious matter, neither Soi Fon nor Shunsui have brought out their bankai yet! Idk. I'm thinking she's doing another sort of fake-out like she did earlier, but I can't figure out what she wants to accomplish with it. Hmmm. To see Baragan's release?...

Also, Oomaeda is an idiot. XD How did he not KNOW this? WTF? *headdesk*

First, Halibel heart-wave release thing made me LOL. XD The rest of the Hitsugaya section was... interesting, I guess. He was pretty injured there at the end, and I'm thinking that someone is going to need to rescue him. Hrm. On the other hand, before wound appeared out of nowhere, Hitsu still seemed pretty confident. "Make sure I don't underestimate her!" so... Unless he was just being arrogant, I'm thinking that he still has some tricks to pull. Will he be able now to pull them, I don't know. People have said it looks like Matsumoto's wound, and that pretty much put her out of commission. Soo...

Oh yeah! That reminds me! We got to see the people being healed at the begining. Some of me & Vraie's questions were answered! XDD Well, kinda, lol. Iba is there, so hopefully he's not dead and is being healed. And look, there's Komamura guarding them! XD I betcha he'll have to get involved at some point.

I will be waiting with bated breath for the spoilers on Tuesday/Wednesday. :D

EDIT: Whoops, I forgot in the excitement of the chapter. Next week there's no Bleach. *sulks*

Why on earth did Soi Fon promote him to VC in the first place? It doesn't seem that Soul Society is that corrupt when it comes to advancing kiddies from rich families, in general... so I sure hope he comes out with something pretty awesome at some point to redeem himself. (I assume she herself is stalling in order to get Barragan to come closer so she can sting him, but that's just boring ol' me.)

Someone mentioned once that Soi Fon picked Oomaeda because there was no chance that she would grow fond of him. So if he betrayed her, she would not be hurt. I tend to agree with this; it seems like something Soi Fon would do.

And that's a good theory on SF's motivations. It MUST be something like that.

Oomaeda is a raving lunatic, that's all there is to it, and his only purpose in life is for my brother and I to be able to hate upon the same Bleach character and therefore not insult the other's tastes. :P

And I mourned the hat too.

And also noted that released!Halibel is kind of hot. In fact, I was so busy looking at her on my first read, that I didn't even fully get what had happened to poor Hitsugaya. He's going to kill me after they've made him all better. They'd better make him all better.

I understand completely. XD It helped that I read the spoilers, so I knew what was going to happen to Hitsu. I just enjoyed all the pretty pictures, nom nom nom. With Shunsui + Stark + Maskless!Halibel in the same chapter, mmmmmm. :D But who's going to heal him?? O_O Kira's busy enough as it is!

...OH! Now I get it! XDD That makes so much sense! It still looks like a heart though, which is LOL.

I don't know! =/ Onemanga said something about Shounen Jump being a double issue this week, so it's not publishing next week. *grumblepout*

Hahaha. Well, actually, I kind of like reading it in the morning. I get up like 10 minutes earlier, and chill and eat my breakfast while reading.

*mourns Shunsui's hat* What annoyed me most about Hitsugaya was that he was just standing there, waiting for the attack with wide eyes. *sigh* Things like that makes me understand why there's a lot of ppl who don't like him. I really wanted to kick him into action there so he'd stop staring at the shark-boobs. One would think he's used to seeing boobs around...

Soi-Fon confuses me. Sometimes she's awesome and really strong and now... it's like she's already given up. And from what I've understood, it's only Kenpachi who doesn't have a bankai, since he won his seat by battle. At least that's how it used to be.

I'd like Oomaeda to be the token killed Shinigami in this clash between the sides. He's really annoying and appears to be rather useless. If he's the second best they've got in that division, it's really gone downhill after Yoruichi left.

Thank gods for the healing! I was very worried about Shuuhei and Matsumoto.

*mourns with her* Me too! I was surprised that he just stood there, thinking to himself. Idk. I would have expected him to be more proactive. But maybe people are right; he's inexperienced. *shrugs* I don't know. Or was it just done for effect?

Soi Fon is confusing me too! Maybe she's just a REALLY good actor, because she's definitely convincing me that she, like you said, has given up. She seems defeated. My only guess is she's trying to get Baragan to underestimate her. But she's said before that she's at her limit, even though as far as I knew, you had to have Bankai to be a Captain... *is confuzzled*

Haha yeah, if someone's gotta die, I'd rather it be Oomaeda than pretty much anyone else. Though I don't know if it's that he's the second best, I think it's more a Soi Fon has issues thing. There's no way she can become attached to him, so he can't hurt her.

Mmhmm! I'm STILL worried about them, though. I hope they're healable...

Yeah, Hitsu's scene actually made me laugh more.

It's NOT the first thing that springs to mind when your right half is pared away from the rest of you. I would've thought 'shit, that bloody hurt' would be a good starting place...unless his ice dragon dulls his pain somehow.

Yay for seeing Iba and Komamura. Komamura's being so useful now. I see that.

And I also was railing about the grievous offence committed by Kubo in showing such a violent act against such a pivotal character. Shunsui's hat will never be the same again (mourns).

Soi Fon likes putting the wind up Oomaeda. She must have Bankai since Urahara said Kenpachi is the ONLY Captain not to have it. And he would KNOW if Soi Fon didn't have it, since they were on the same squad (must've crossed paths - anime filler certainly liked to say so!). I think she can fight some more, but i'm not sure the two of them can take Barragan.

And now for the predictable bit, but...

Oh yeah, and this. Here is Vraie's fangirl logic for the week.

Inside Kira's magic box...Ran is down. Momo is down. Iba is down. Hisagi is down. Kira is not down and is healing them. Ergo, Kira pwns over all of the above. Kira > Hisagi. It's now official XD

But God, Komamura better do something useful soon. Dammit, if he's just standing there like an...erm...guard dog...while Kira is doing all the healing on FOUR equally ranked officials...I'm sorry, that's just pathetic.

:S I know 7th Squad gets overlooked but that is pretty bad...

Either way, I'm not sure if both of them can take Baragan either, unless Oomaeda is much more powerful than we've been led to believe. I mean, Baragan is more powerful than Halibel, according to the numbers, anyway. Hmm. This leads to the question who is more powerful- Soi Fon or Hitsugaya?

Fangirl logic is teh bestest! *g* I'll admit, I squeed when I saw that page too and spent 5 minutes peering at the little shapes on the ground, picking everyone out. XDD What I want to know is, what exactly were they all gaping at? Was the timing just off and they were supposed to be staring at what happens to Hitsu later in the chapter?...

Well, someone does have to guard them. Kira can't heal and defend at the same time... and none of the patients are in any condition to fight. Hmm. Where are Yumichika and Ikkaku? Guarding the pillars? But Hisagi and Kira left theirs... *ponders this*

Also, another question. I still don't get the Oomaeda and the limiter thing. Maybe I'm remembering things wrong. Before, when we learned about the limiter, weren't Renji and Rukia and Matsumoto all also under the limiter? All Shinigami had to be under a limiter! Is Oomaeda such a SUCKY and IDIOTIC Shinigami that he didn't even notice that he wasn't under a limiter?? *is confused* Am I missing something?...

Yeah, it's meant to be VC and Captains that are under the limiter. It's been explained a few times and that's been consistently the case. Oomaeda is just a doof. He really...doesn't...get it. Though I think he is stronger than he has appeared - he had that moment of it a few chapters back, I seem to remember, and he is a VC for a reason. Just...meh. Not overly interested in that fight. Although being trained by Yoruichi, I'd like to think Soi Fon was stronger. Less emotional, more clinical - so long as Yoruichi isn't involved.

Dammit, Kubo, stop cutting from JuuShun fights to SoiFon fights already!

It occurred to me too that Komamura is very loyal to Yama, and if his detail is to protect the wounded then that's what he'll do. Though I think someone might attack him at some point. Halibel may come after him...it was after all her fraccion that were destroyed in that fight, even if that was by Yama.

Ikkaku is drinking sake somewhere, and Yumichika is doing his hair.

There is nobody to attack the pillars right at the moment, though - I don't think.

And yes. It's now THE Juu. XD
