My one-month old laptop is broken (won't connect to the internet because I have a bad adaptor), I just had to change my class schedule for this fall to annoying times (too early!), but here is an awesome write up about why the overturning of Prop 8 is such a good thing that made me feel much better. I'm so happy about this.

Also, I love when my following ship_manifesto brings me a new fandom to lurk in. :D I spent the last couple days devouring Garak/Bashir fics from ST: Deep Space Nine. It's totally my kind of ship. Here's the manifesto /pimp pimp pimp

I generally.. don't go into the trekkie fandom at all. But I do love Star Trek, I grew up watching it.

Garak is by far my favourite character in DS9.. then Quark.

BUT, you know what I AM SO GLAD YOU SHIP THIS, BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN SEEING THIS PAIRING AS CANON FOR SO LONG. They even go on dates.

I only got into DS9 after reading the manifesto- I'd never seen it before, even though I am a TOS fan. I was intrigued, and now I'm watching it XD. Garak is by far my favorite now too XD I love complicated characters! *glee~*

OMG YES THOSE DATES. I LOVE THAT SO MUCH! They go on dates! And they have ~discussions~! And flirt! Omg my smart dorky boys ♥!
