Annie's spoilers are up at BA!

And because discussing spoilers is much more fun than studying for that final I'm going to fail tommorow...

One of the things I find most interesting, actually, is that Annie says Halibel turns to Yamamoto after thinking that she's defeated Hitsugaya. Is she going to try to take him on?? Seriously? Maybe people are right, and she is arrogant. Hmm. Yamamoto could take her down pronto.

The rest of the Hitsugaya scene... >_> Blargh. I guess Hitsugaya is going to end up being really powerful. Meh. I guess we'll see how this goes, but at the moment it's really irritating me. I'm still half hoping this is a fakeout- you know where you think someone's dead, they get up and find out they're not... and then someone shoots them in the back of the head and they really die. (I finally saw the episode last week where Kate dies in NCIS. This happens there, so I guess it's on my mind. I've seen similar before, too.)

I am now really worried about Soi Fon. Barragan's ability sounds pretty... harmful. He broke her arm?? And how far can his aging powers go? I don't know what she can do to protect herself from him... Nevermind if he can make her an old lady, even the fact that he can slow down time is problematic for her. Isn't one of her best skills speed? Not as quick as Yoruichi, of course, but still... Hrm. Also, I think Annie's alternate translation for Barragan's release frightens me more than the one she chose. 'Decay' worries me more than 'deteriorate'. I guess it just... sounds more serious. *shrugs and bits nails*

On the other hand, at least from scans it looks like Barragan's release is going to be pretty awesome looking. That's something, I guess.

Now let's talk about Barragan's reveal. I'm not sure I get it. If we take it just from what Barragan said and what he can do... Each Espada has a certain power over an aspect of death. His is aging, so he can slow time. But have we seen this in the others? Some of them, maybe- Grimmjow certainly brought destruction. But did, for example, Mayuri cause madness? Did Ulquiorra bring emptiness/desolation? I wonder if that has anything to do with Ichigo's transformation, now that I think about it...

And then Stark's of course. After Kubo makes a big deal out of it this chapter, naming all the Espada and their corralations, he must at least be going to bring this in with Halibel and Stark. Why Halibel is sacrifice should be really interesting too, but since I'm a silly fangirl I'm more concerned with Stark's loneliness at the moment. Does this mean perhaps he has some control over.. emotions? Like depression/loneliness? When I started considering this I was like, "I wonder..." and then debbiechan said in the comments exactly what I didn't know I was thinking. She's wondering now if maybe Shunsui's friendship with Jyuu will come into it. O_O Do you have ANY IDEA HOW EXCITED I would be if that happened???? *crosses fingers, arms, toes, eyes* PLZ.

Heh. Well, that's my two sense on the situation. Chime in all you want, I love discussing Bleach. Obviously. In case you hadn't noticed. :p

2. I read this wrong. I read that Halibel turned 'to be' Yamamoto. The mental images are terrible. Damn lol.
3. Idk.. Ive been reading older chapters and Hitsu said that "WAHAHAHA I CAN CONTROL EVERYTHING THAT ENVOLVES ICE AND WATER. KAYTHANKSBYE." And Halibel uses water on her attacks (or wtf.) So basically he can control her D:
4.Barragan's teeth will fall and his back will break in the middle of the battle. Thats the 'aging' that we are talking about >:DDDDDD
5. Maybe some of them died before showing the relation :| Or maybe some of them are aspects of their personalities?
6. I hope he doesnt envolve their friendship in a bad way. Mental manipulation reasulting in breaking the friendship for example. I wouldnt mind 2 or 3 flashbacks though <3 I still vote for Stark switching sides ♥

He just did this weird mirror/simalcrum thing to trick her. And then goes "don't underestimate Shinigami". But. Why didn't he use this against Luppi and the other people that beat him?...

I am... relatively fond of UlquiHime. I have friends that like it a lot, but I only really started liking it after Ulqui's 'death' scene.

And Szayel couldnt cause madness in one that was already mad. Therefore, fail. :)

Wtf does Kubo have against arms, by the way? Slice them off. Burn them. Break them. Etc. A reliable source tells me this is also a signature theme in claymore. It's all about the arms. WTF? Let's train them all to fight with their teeth now.

Juu and Shun's friendship - what about Lili and Stark's bond? Lots of speculation about this I've seen of late and why Lili is linked to Stark. Whether she's involved in his release in some way...and therefore it is going to be Lili-Stark vs Juu and Shun in a scary and horrible we have yet to imagine.

If Halibel is turning towards Yamamoto then maybe sacrifice is her life vs him for some greater purpose. I don't think it's going to be sacrificing him.

I want Juu and Shun weeeell away from Barragan though. WELL away. He can do as he likes to Soi Fon :P XD

Hahaha, yeah I meant Szayel! Haha, sorry about the typo. I'll go fix. Those two are pretty similar, lol... But still, Szayel didn't actively cause madness like Barragan is actively causing aging/screwing with time. So is this direct influence only Barragan? But why would Kubo make a big deal out of it then...

Seriously! What does he have against arms?? Really though, my guess would be that that's the most horror inducing to the audience, but the character can still fight back. A leg getting chopped off would cause some problems in Hitsugaya or Soi Fon fighting back, unless they have some super crazy healing kido or something... They'd just sort of... flail around? I have the sudden urge to make a Monty Python reference. Instead of just switching to the other arm.

Yeah, the existence of Lili is the one thing that's bugging me about Stark's 'loneliness'. Is it self-imposed loneliness then? I guess he could still be lonely if it was only Lili that he was friends (or whatever) with. Or maybe we're supposed to interpret the loneliness thing in a different way. But... all the other Espada did resemble their theme in some way.

I don't know, I don't think it'd be that horrible. XD I think I'd be okay with Lili being more powerful (or being part of Stark?...) if it meant we got to see Shunsui and Jyuu fight together! Lol.

Yeah, I've heard the Halibel sacrificing herself to hurt Yamamoto idea before. I think it's an interesting idea; I wonder how it'd work. I also saw someone comment on Halibel's fraccion sacrificing their arms to create Allon.

Now that I think about it, that helps with the Lili theory, if the fraccion add to the theme too.

... oh crap. I hadn't thought about that. You're right! Stay away, Jyuu and Shun! Stay away! Focus on Stark and Lili! Good boys!

I have no idea where Nanao is! I want to know! Doing something back in SS I'm assuming... but I wonder if she'll show up if Stark goes all 'loneliness' on Shunsui...

There's always the possibility of trying to turn Shun on Juu, I suppose, or vice versa. I just think that would be OOC at this point no matter what outside influences were involved. (Oh who the hell am I kidding, this is the hypocrite talking who's been planning a Juu vs Shun fight since like, too long ago and hasn't got to write it yet so does NOT want to be pwned by Kubo even if it does mean flashbacks and shikais and stuffs).

And also the arms theories. Let's not forget the arms. It's all about the arms.

Yeah, winterfeelings mentioned that option to me too. My first gut reaction is "WHAT? NO!" but... it would be rather fascinating to see. That would be one way something interesting could happen in canon with them too... Something to make it different than just a power fight. Do you know what I mean? Plus I doubt, no matter what outside influences, Shunsui could ever kill Jyuu. So hopefully it'd be all right in the end... just make for fun h/c and angsty fanfic. *laughs*

Shunsui could never kill Juu. It might not go the other way though. If Shunsui was possessed in some irreversible way, say - well, think of Kaien. ^_^.

I can't! Not yet. Not until I get muuch further in what I'm writing and know more and anyhow YOU SHOULD BE STUDYING so there. But if I do write it, it will be an epic to the death style fight...and when I say to the death, I DO NOT JEST.

Truuue... though I think killing Shunsui might be a bit too much, even for Jyuu. I could see, maybe like you said, if Jyuu knew for sure that he could never make Shunsui come back to his senses.
