Obviously, the most discussion worthy part of this chapter is the Hisagi & Tousen conversation. Which I loved. But I read through my fingers. xDD When Hisagi caid "Captain Tousen", I literally jerked back from the computer. Omg. The significance of that. Remember Matsumoto's doubts when Momo referred to Aizen as 'Captain Aizen'? I bet none of the Shinigami thought Hisagi would do that. Ahhh, I'm loving this. I always said that I thought Hisagi was just as screwed up by the betrayal as Momo and Kira were. Glad that Kubo actually went there! :D The hint that maybe Tousen has been screwing with his mind for longer than we thought is awesomesauce. <3 I can not wait for the coming chapters as more is revealed.

I'd say more about the possible outcomes and what stuff means, but my new friend cairnsy has a really awesome entry about it right here. Go read that instead, it's good. :)

AHAHA TAKE THAT, WONDERWEISS. *cheers for Mashiro* ... yeah, no, I still haven't gotten over the fact that he gutted my favorite character. *sulks* Even though he's cute. xD Besides which, I highly doubt he's staying down for long... and I still haven't decided on which interpretation of Gin's line I'm going with. :3 Was he talking about WW or Mashiro? I'm leaning towards Mashiro, just 'cause I know WW is sooo not done for yet. And I'm guessing Gin would know that...

On that note, GIIIIIN <33333. *flutters about* ILU GIN. YOU CREEPY BASTARD, YOU. >D

LOL of course at Hitsugaya and Hiyori. The fight was hilarious. xD But not as hilarious as it could've been if I hadn't been in a WTF?!?! state of mind... what was Hitsugaya thinking? I don't understand. At all. Why did he say that?! O_O

... I do totally support HitsuHiyori, though. :3 *giggles* He apologized! And his faces were so adorable. *hearts*

Lisa was so freaking awesome, I love her. <3333 I WANT FIC NAOW. Anything. :3 I like LisaShunsui yes yes yes. But Lisa/Halibel would be hot, ahaha. xD And it's all vraieesprit's fault that I like Lisa/Rose too. xDDD

I liked the Hacchi and Soifon scene. I totally am on board with some history there. I like what wdboldstar said over at bleachness...

I have to admit, I'm getting all sorts of crack theories about Hachi and Soifon running through my head now. I sort of like the idea of Hachi coming to the 2nd Division to discuss Kidou with Yoruichi, and always having a pat on the head and a kind word from Soifon, who was outwardly grumpy but secretly liked it. And Hachi, being understanding of Soifon's deep bond with Yoruichi because of those visits, understands with melancholy that she may never forgive him for being the cause of her exile.

It's cute and sweet. D'aww. Hacchi did look particularly depressed when she rejected him. D: I wanted to hug him.

Also... ILU BARRAGAN. You are the most badass creepy thing evar. And you have the best lines. Guh. My favorite this chapter was "everything is equal before me". It sounded kind of like Kubo trying to say something sorta profound? Because Barragan is time. So yeah. <3 Can't wait to see where this goes!

It made me sad that we didn't get to see Rose, Love, or Starrk, though. D: Oh well. Next week, mayhaps?

1) Who do you think Gin was referring to in his "poor thing" line?

2) Do you think Wonderweiss is a Vasto Lorde? Or at least that he's amazingly powerful? If so, what do you think the fate of Mashiro and/or Kensei will be?

I think the world just needs more Soifon in general. It makes me sad how much people seem to dislike her.

I am an EVIL fangirl because I'm looking forward to the upcoming Hisagi angst. Character development, yay! As for how long Hisagi's been under his spell ... according to the manga, Hisagi had already been accepted into the Gotei 13 7 years before he even entered the academy. My guess is that was when Tousen first sunk his claws ito him, although I'm dying to know exactly what Hisagi did to get into the Gotei 13 and in such a way. More flashbacks, please!

1) Oh, Mashiro.

2) Amazingly powerful. Got to be. I'm thinking though that his extra, amazing powers might come from being 'aged up' by the skeleton guy.

3) Helping Ukitake! They'll show up soon, carrying him between them ....

Lol, I'd be an evil fangirl too. xD I'd so be up for some torturing of my favorite characters if it meant character development, aha. And flashbacks are win, and I really hope Kubo does not just leave us with that one panel from this chapter. MOAR FLASHBACKS PLZ. I want to see Tousen's mind warping skills, and sad little!Hisagi.
